This is my 1994 MR2 NA the very first day after I recieved it from the transport company on June 20, 2004, as it made it's way here from Seattle, Washington. I washed it first thing and decided to take a few photos. As you can see, the car was in excellent condition, with 81,400 miles. I paid $7700 for the car, plus $700 to have it shipped. I had been looking for a 94+ NA for quite some time up to this point. I let a friend buy a 1995 that I had been looking at almost a year prior, and this was the first one that really striked my interest since that time. I'm a very big fan of the NA MR2. They are great fun to drive and I don't have any of the hassles that I have with my turbo MR2 like worrying about bumps in the road, leaving it unattended, watching this gauge or that gauge, letting it warm up, letting it cool down, etc. I just get in it and drive it without a care in the world, plus it saves me from putting miles on the turbo MR2. There really is something to be said for a completely stock MR2. I really do love this car. It doesn't mean I don't like my turbo...both cars have their merits, and I like each for different reasons. For anyone considering an NA, they are superb cars, unless you are one of those who just can't manage to escape the "my penis is bigger" mentality and can't come to grips with the fact that your car isn't the fastest on the road. For me, I look forward to driving my NA everyday and recommend one to anybody who can truly appreciate a stock MR2. |
